Islamabad—Gilgit Baltistan is part of Kashmir and no decision will be accepted which disturbs the unity, Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Yaqoob Khan has said.Talking to different delegations he said the people of Gilgit Baltistan must have political rights till the solution of Kashmir issue. “But they will not accept any action that could damage the unity of Kashmir”.AJK will support the political and constitutional rights of the people of Gilgit Baltistan.The Prime Minister said the AJK government and other political forces in Kashmir will make a decision about the new status to Gilgit Baltistan. “But the people of Gilgit Baltistan must enjoy all political and constitutional rights,” he added.He said that Gilgit Baltistan is the part of Kashmir and the issue should be resolved according to the resolutions of United Nations.The AJK government will support the political and constitutional rights of the people of Gilgit Baltistan.He said that the problems of people should be solved but they will not allow anyone to damage the freedom movement.He further said that Kashmir leadership in occupied Kashmir is united on the right of self- determination and they will not compromise on their right of self-determination.Prime Minister Sardar Yaqoob said that Pakistan has supported the Kashmir movement at all forums. He said that the Kashmiries have trust in Pakistanis and Pakistan will not act against the freedom movement.
