ISLAMABAD : Rawalakot, Muzaffarabad, Airports of AJK are likely to be reopened with in this month, sources told Online.
CAA had shut down airports in Rawalakot and Muzaffarabad due to lack of demand for air travel by the local population and the devastating earthquake in 2005, which had considerable damaged the airports.
However now CAA has decided to reopen both these airports and they are likely to be reopened in this month.
Civil Aviation Authority may also construct another airport at Kotli AJK.
The land for new airport would be provided by the AJK government.
