Four of family killed in Motorway accident

CHAKWAL: Four members of a family were killed and three others injured in an accident on Motorway near Balkassar Interchange on Tuesday. A family was going to Lahore from Rawalakot when their car overturned after hitting a divider due to over speeding. As a result, Muhammad Nazim and his son Sabiul Hassan, car driver Naeem Yasin and his brother Faheem Yasin were killed on the spot while Nazim’s wife Najma Yasin, his daughter Fatima and Muhammad Naseem were injured seriously. The injured were rushed to a hospital in Rawalpindi.

TheNila police have registered a case. The family was coming to the Lahore Airport to see off their relative. According to the police, the accident took place after the car driver felt doziness.

Seven killed in traffic mishap in Danda Gambir Hajira

RAWALAKOT (Online) - As many as seven people including the driver have been killed while another three got injured in a traffic accident at Danda Gambir on Friday, police said.As per details, a passenger wagon coming from Danda Gambir was on its way to Hajira when due to over-speeding the driver lost control and the wagon fell into a deep ditch. As a result, seven passengers including the driver died on the spot while three were injured.Soon after the accident, police and locals rushed to the site and started rescue operation. The injured have been shifted to Rawalakot Hospital.
